4 - The Ex-Files
Blair and her "Posse" interview different girls to decide whether or not they would be inducted into their "clique". Meanwhile, Dan meets a new student named Amanda, and the two instantly bond, however, Blair and her "posse" attempt to sabotage Dan and Amanda's new friendship by introducing her as the new girl into their clique. Serena also meets somebody new, and he could be her next love interest. And Vanessa finally meets with the duchess.
Season 2 - Episode 3
3 - The Dark Night
Serena and Dan are forced to deal with their unspoken problems while trapped in an elevator during a citywide blackout. In a humorous twist, Blair questions the lack of passion in her relationship with Marcus, while at the same time Chuck appears to have lost his passion for any woman other than Blair. Meanwhile, Nate struggles between his feelings for Vanessa and his more-complicated-by-the-day relationship with Catherine. Jenny risks losing her internship when Eleanor catches Jenny critiquing one of the Eleanor Waldorf designs.
Season 2 - Episode 2
2 - Never Been Marcused
Blair is over the moon that she is dating royalty and has every intention of becoming royal herself, but a scheming Chuck has other plans for Blair and her new love, Marcus. Serena and Dan agree to keep their recent hook-ups a secret from their friends and family until they figure out what all this means for their relationship. Meanwhile, Nate learns the downside to having an affair with a hot older woman, Catherine, who also happens to be married.
Season 2 - Episode 1
1 - Summer, Kind of Wonderful
As the summer draws to a close in the Hamptons, Serena and Nate have everyone fooled into thinking they are a couple to cover up the fact that Nate has been hooking up with a married older woman and Serena has been secretly mourning her break-up with Dan. Blair returns from abroad with a hot guy on her arm, making a very jealous Chuck question his decision to leave Blair stranded at the heliport. Dan has spent the summer assisting a famous author, but decides to head to the Hamptons to see how things stand with Serena after a summer spent apart. While interning for Eleanor Waldorfs company, Jenny sneaks an invite to a much-coveted Hamptons White Party at which Eric introduces her to socialite Tinsley Mortimer.
Season 1 - Episode 18
18 - Much 'I Do' About Nothing
Blair decides to take matters into her own hands and deal with Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg); Lily prepares for her wedding day with Rufus on her mind; Serena finally tells Dan the truth about her past. After Serena tells Dan about what happened, they finally work things out.
Georgina's parents are tired of her antics and tell her that things won't be alright if she doesn't get her act together. Blair is there for support... or is she? The Sparks want to send their daughter to a boot camp for troubled girls. At the wedding, Bart, Lily, Chuck and Eric are all smiles. Rufus surprises Lily in the bridal chamber.
Season 1 - Episode 17
17 - Woman On The Verge
The episode starts off with Nate and Chuck being called to Blair's house since Serena is in trouble. It is still evident that the 3 of them are still feuding. Dan is equally worried about Serena as well but everyone refuses to tell him what happened and what is going on with Serena, who had a terrible night and is staying with Blair. Serena is forced to tell Dan that she cheated on him last night, while she didn't because she claims she couldn't risk Dan knowing about what really happened to her a year ago and the real reason she left. She explains the entire story to her friends that Georgina tried to film a sex tape of Serena and accidentally recorded someone dying. Meanwhile, Lily finds the tape and assumes the worst about her daughter.
Sarah (Georgina) becomes closer to Dan because she is angry at Serena for revealing the truth behind the events a year ago.
Meanwhile, Rufus is excited when his band is invited to perform at a Rolling Stone-sponsored concert, but Lily is the last person on earth he expects to see at the performance, especially since her wedding rehearsal dinner is the same night.
Season 1 - Episode 16
16 - All About My Brother
Blair and Jenny face off and each sends numerous of fake rumors to Gossip Girl, such as Jenny wading in a pool to collect the coins at the bottom. Meanwhile, Dan discovers Asher kissing another boy. Likewise, Eric tries to warn Jenny that Asher is not what he really looks like, but Jenny mistakes it for jealousy on Eric's part. When Dan confronts Asher about it, he denies it, and when Jenny joins them, he makes Dan seem like an over-protective brother. Jenny and Asher host their own high-society party, to which Blair is not invited.
Meanwhile, Serena believes that Georgina has left town, but is jolted back to reality when Georgina sends her a USB showing a clip of Georgina and a man. It is believed that will also show what Serena did before leaving, but Serena closes it before anything is revealed. Dan and "Sarah", who is really Georgina, grow closer.
When Dan tips off Gossip Girl that Asher is gay, Jenny becomes irritated, believing it as another rumor that Blair posted. Her relationship with her father becomes strained, and he finds parenting advice in Lily van der Woodsen. Jenny finds out that Asher has been using her to conceal up his sexuality. Blair steals Asher's cellphone to truly find out his sexuality, and sets the cellphone to forward all his texts and photos to her cellphone.
Georgina stays for dinner with the van der Woodsens, much to Serena's displeasure. After strained conversation, Georgina reveals that Eric, too, is gay. After Lily breaks down from realization, Eric tells Serena that he was the boy Asher was seen kissing by Dan. At the party, Blair crashes and walks straight to Asher and says that, since the other boy she realizes is Eric, whom she cares about, she will not tell Gossip Girl that he is gay, but is warning she knows. Eric comes up with her, and when Asher still does not tell, Eric walks away, telling Blair to "send it". Blair then sends all the texts to Gossip Girl.
Meanwhile, when Serena finds out that Sarah is really Georgina, she tells Dan not to trust her. He, thinking she is jealous, becomes frustrated because she has become distant. Serena talks to Georgina separately, Georgina states that she is only doing this because she wants things to go back to the way things used to be. Serena still rejects her, and Dan, Vanessa, and Georgina leave Serena by herself. That night, Serena,desperate, goes to Blair's house, where after Serena becomes more and more desperate, she reveals that she had killed someone.
Season 1 - Episode 15
15 - Desperately Seeking Serena
It's SAT time, and Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg), Serena's former partner in all things bad, returns to Manhattan. They go out to a bar one night and things go haywire. The next night, they decide to have a one hour dinner, no alcohol. However, Georgina spikes Serena's drink, and she ends up missing another study night with Dan. Nate finds romance with Vanessa, the last person he would expect. Jenny meets a guy who could be her ticket to permanent popularity, but Rufus on the other hand, grounds her for the Valentino incident. Dan and Blair discover Vanessa and Nate are spending time together.
Meanwhile Blair is trying to bring down Nelly Yuki, one of the smartest girls at Constance, so that she will wipe out the competition for Yale. She does so by keeping Nelly off focus by having her ex-boyfriend mess with her feelings so that she will screw up her SAT's.
Season 1 - Episode 14
14 - The Blair Bitch Project
Blair hesitantly returns to school after being dethroned as Queen Bee. Serena struggles to adjust to living with her future stepbrother, Chuck, and receives disturbing packages from an unknown sender. Jenny's drive to be popular hits a high. Her birthday is coming up, and she feels too ashamed of being middle-class so she steal's Hazel's mother's red Valentino dress.
Season 1 - Epsiode 13
13 - A Thin Line Between Nate and Chuck
Pregnancy reported on Gossip Girl. Gossip Girl takes pleasure in reporting that Serena van der Woodsen was spotted buying pregnancy tests. Of course, on the Upper East Side, the truth is often even juicier and more scandalous than the gossip, and this time is no exception. While Blair believes she is pregnant and that her life is over, Nate is more than furious at Chuck for sleeping with his girlfriend. Between the confusion, Blair wonders who the baby's father is creating confusion, anger, and most importantly, drama.
Season 1 - Episode 12
12 - School Lies
Impromptu party at the school's swimming pool. Serena, Blair, Nate, Chuck and their entourage break into the school swimming pool for a night of fun, but when a member of their group nearly drowns, the school threatens to expel the person responsible for the break-in. Everyone agrees to keep a secret pact and say nothing, but it ultimately creates major tension between Serena and Dan, who isn't sure he's ready to take the fall for someone else and risk his future. Vanessa is working on a documentary project about private schools and accidentally captures Blair and Chuck discussing their affair. Lily contemplates telling Rufus how she really feels about him.
Season 1 - Episode 11
11 - Roman Holiday
Harold tells Blair that he and his boyfriend Roman bought a vineyard in France. Blair freaks a bit because she finds it too permanent. Eleanor hits it off with Jack Roth, a wealthy businessman in his 50s. Blair feels sad because the day she envisioned spending with her father doesn't turn how she thought it would. Rufus faces off a man named Alex who is hitting on his wife. Serena is shocked when Lily announces she is dating Bart Bass.
Season 1 - Episode 10
10 - Hi Society
Serena's grandmother has much to say about the upcoming debutante ball, insisting that her reluctant granddaughter attend - and find a more suitable escort than Dan. Meanwhile, Nate accompanies Blair to the ball as her friend and wants to find out if Blair is seeing someone else. Jenny also hopes to go to the upper-class event - her parents would rather she didn't, however that doesn't stop her.
Season 1 - Episode 9
9 - Blair Waldorf Must Pie!
The Humphreys and van der Woodsens share an awkward Thanksgiving dinner.Dan invites Serena and her family to have Thanksgiving dinner with his family which creates an awkward situation for Rufus, Lily and Allison, making Rufus make a choice between Lily and his family. Nate and his family have an uncomfortable meal, ending up with Harold in the hospital and Blair is upset that her father won't make it home for their family Thanksgiving dinner and realizes that her parents are getting a divorce. John Shea guest stars as Blair's father. During the beginning and the end of the episode, eveents from last Thanksgiving was begin replayed to show the changes in the stars.
Season 1 - Episode 8
8 - Seventeen Candles
Although Blair is devastated by the state of her relationship with Nate, she manages to put on a happy face for her 17th birthday party and attempts to hide her feeling to her friends. Hoping to ease the tension between Serena and Vanessa, Dan takes Vanessa to Blair's party so the girls can bond together, but this ends up making Serena more uncomfortable, but then they found a common ground. Jenny brings her mom home as a surprise visit, but Rufus is not ready to forgive and forget.Also making it uncomfortable for Dan and Allison. Nate's parents ask him to make a huge sacrifice to save his father's business as he faces charges of embezzlement and fraud. Thinking that Nate is giving her a diamond necklace for her birthday, Blair couldn't have been any happier. Until, she finds out at the party, that Nate doesn't show up and the present turns out to be from Chuck.
Season 1 - Episode 7
7 - Victor, Victrola
After surviving the on-again/off-again nature of their new relationship, Serena and Dan finally acknowledge they are crazy about each other, despite their polar opposite worlds that constantly threaten to pull them apart. And Dan tries to treat Serena to a romantic evening alone. Chuck contemplates investing in a burlesque club in the hopes of making his hard-to-please father proud of him.Only to confuse his father's and Lily's relationship and making Lily's and Rufus' relationship go further. Nate confronts his father about the drugs he found in the house, but his father denies having a problem. Jenny discovers a secret her father, Rufus, and mother, Alison, have been keeping from her. Finally, Blair is once again devastated by Nate's actions after Jenny reveals that Nate kissed her by accident thinking she was Serena and revorts her from her elite group for good. After Blair confronts Nate about Jenny's confession, her relationship with Chuck heats up.
Season 1 - Episode 6
6 - The Handmaiden's Tale
Dan's childhood friend, Vanessa returns from home, declaring her feelings for Dan. Blair holds a masquerade ball, and although no outsiders are allowed, a disguised Jenny - with the help of Vanessa - and Dan arrive - taking the identity of some drunk boy. Blair sends Nate on a scavenger hunt on which he is distracted from by Serena, who is actually Jenny under a mask, whom he gives a kiss to - thinking it is Serena. Meanwhile Lily takes Rufus to an Eleanor Waldorf event to make Bart Bass jealous.
Season 1 - Episode 5
5 - Dare Devil
As Serena and Dan prepare for their first official date, the latter finds himself making extensive plans to impress her while Jenny is invited to a sleepover at Blair Waldorf's home and finds herself embroiled in an intense game of truth or dare. Meanwhile, Erik goes missing from his treatment center and Lily seeks Rufus's help in finding him. Nate does not appear in this episode, as he was said to be elsewhere.
Season 1 - Episode 2
2 - The Wild Brunch
Blair reveals to Serena that she knows about her past transgressions with her boyfriend, Nate Archibald, before she left town and gives her the cold shoulder. Meanwhile, Chuck Bass's father hosts a fundraiser brunch and Serena shows up with Dan Humphrey raising the fire of Chuck and Blair. Dan's sister, Jenny, also makes inroads with the in-crowd when Blair befriends her and takes her under her wings.
